Citilink Prevailed at Anugerah Adikarya Wisata 2012

Citilink_new_logoJakarta, December 7th 2012 – Citilink, the subsidiary company of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk., for low cost carrier service (LCC), was crowned as the best national air carrier in Transportation category at Anugerah Adikarya Wisata 2012 Award or Jakarta Tourism Award, held on Tuesday, December 4th 2012 at Hotel Mulia Senayan Jakarta. The award served as a milestone for the entire directorial board and employees of Citilink in providing the best possible service for its customers and to ensure that they travel with the most comfort they can get.

Adikarya Wisata is a compendium for tourism industry practitioners and tourism workers with the purpose of increasing their competing prowess in building the field of tourism in DKI Jakarta province, through means of Customer Satisfaction Survey Research Method. The research was combined Tourism Balance Scorecard system and was performed by Faculty of Economy Universitas Indonesia (LM-FEUI) dan digabung dengan sistem Tourism Balance Scorecard.

Citilink’s victory in Transportation category is a result of scoring process by Adikarya Wisata 2012 Board of Adjudicators, which comprised of independent experts, professionals, and business practitioners with acknowledged and trustworthy credibility. Names like Budhi M. Suyitno, Herna P. Danuningrat, Kemal Effendi Gani, Tity Koesoemo, Eddy Kuntadi, Vindex Tengker, Thamrin B. Bachri, Hendra Rahtomo (DJ. Rommy), Dr. Wagiono are some of those who are given the trust by Board of Tourism and Culture to engage in the judging process. ” This is done to guarantee how objective, transparent, and accountable the judging process was,” Kemal Effendi Gani, who also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of SWA magazine, explicated.

Citilink as the winner of Anugerah Adikarya Wisata 2012 award is expected to represent the tourism industry and service which possess much potential in both service and business. This may also promote the allure of Jakarta as a tourism destination. “We will make the award our incentive to increase the quality of our service and the customers’ convenience when using Citilink, as well as multiplying our commitment to give a maximum contribution in Indonesian tourism industry, ignited by the spirit of our love to the country.”

Currently Citilink has served 88 daily frequencies to various important cities in Indonesia. In the future, Citilink will continue opening new routes to other cities. “Our target by the end of 2012 is to operate 137 flight frequencies daily. This is Citilink’s commitment to increase its service for Indonesian customers. Starting from 2013, we will add 10 more fleets each year until 2015, so then we would be able to operate up to 50 fleets,” said Arif Wibowo.

As a further evidence of Citilink’s success in boosting its service commitment, the company has achieved many other awards, such as Indonesia Travel and Tourism Foundation for Leading Low Cost Airline 2011/2012 category, Best Overall Marketing Campaign category in The Budgies and Travel Awards 2012 and the latest one, Service To Care Award 2012 for Airlines category from Markplus Insight.
