Jakarta, September 28th 2015 – As the only local communications consultancy firm from Indonesia that participated, Fortune PR was crowned with “Gold SABRE” at the glittering ceremony of 2015 Asia-Pacific SABRE Awards, held on September 23th in Hong Kong. Organised by The Holmes Report, the prestigious event gave recognition for Fortune PR in two categories: Technology (Consumer) and Community Relations.
Fortune PR and OSRAM Indonesia were jointly honored with Gold SABRE in Technology (Consumer) category for “Lights for Fishermen” campaign. Through this social campaign, Fortune PR together with OSRAM Indonesia came up with the initiative to support traditional fishermen in Jakarta. The ultimate objective was to educate these fishermen on how to make their operations more efficient and environment-friendly. Both companies has been committed to preserve the environment as well as maritime industry’s sustainabillity through this program.
Gold SABRE was also awarded to Fortune PR and Jotun Indonesia for its inspirational campaign, titled “Jotun Warnai Dunia 2014-2015: Bandung City Beautification by Involving Community Attachment in Reviving Local Society Assets”. Fortune PR and Jotun Indonesia together executed the campaign by inviting local communities in Bandung to participate in decorating three local assets that had been neglected in the city in order to bring these social heritages back into life as the city’s attraction. As a part of its sustainable community program, Jotun started this campaign in 2013 to inspire people in Indonesia to preserve and revitalize their cities.
