Russ Swift Back At IIMS 2013 To Stun Crowds

Subaru, the authorised distributor of Subaru in Indonesia will bring Russell Swift back to the 21st Indonesia International Motorshow (IIMS) 2013 for the third time. Better known as Russ Swift, the world renowned precision driver and Guinness World Record holder will be at IIMS 2013 to electrify crowds with his repertoire of trademark gravity-defying car stunts.

At the Russ Swift Stunt Show at IIMS, he will showcase stunts, using a range of Subaru vehicles, which will include sequences such as: Doughnuts – spinning a car around in one spot for ten complete revolutions, Two-Wheeling – balancing a car on its driver’s side wheels, Dance Routine – choreographed routine made of exciting spins and Reverse Spin/Parallel Parking – parallel parking in the shortest amount of time taken.

Russ Swift holds a Guinness World Record for parallel parking, and was a two-time British Autotest Champion and England Autotest Team Captain in 1982 and 1983. In 2004, he set a Guinness World Record for making 10 complete spins with a car (also known as Doughnuts) in just 16.07 seconds – a mere 1.6 seconds for each complete spin.

The Subaru Russ Swift Stunt Show will be conducted at IIMS 2013, four times a day (1.00pm, 3.00pm, 5.00pm and 7.00pm) from 20 – 22 September 2013 for public.
