Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment (250-750cc), announced the launch of its new Technology Centre in Bruntingthorpe Proving Grounds, Leicestershire. The brand new facility, located at the heart of central Midlands area of UK, is housed at the largest privately owned vehicle test track facility, thereby ensuring ease of access to a host of vehicle development, engineering and testing related facilities.

In keeping with its ambition to expand and lead the global mid-size motorcycle segment (250-750cc), Royal Enfield has been investing extensively towards increasing capacities, infrastructure and product, and as well as people capabilities. The UKTC (UK Technology Centre) acts as the innovative hub and global headquarters for product strategy, product development, industrial design, research, programme management and analysis for Royal Enfield. The facility boasts of state-of- the-art equipments and modern workshop facilities that enable its experienced engineers to develop authentically styled and accessible motorcycles and future concepts.

There were four media, detik.com, koran sindo, kompas, and tribunnews.com who were invited exclusively from Indonesia to see the first unveiling of the twin engine in the UK and EICMA, Italy to see the official global launch. All journalists shared positive impressions towards the events as it was exciting and considered as one of the most luxurious events in the automotive industry. In the UK, journalists were also invited to visit the legendary Birmingham Motorcycle Museum.
