Ati Muchtar named as the new CEO, with Abidin joining the board of directors
Indonesia’s Fortune PR has unveiled its new leadership structure with Ati Muchtar named as the new CEO.
Previous CEO, Indira Abidin, has now assumed the role of director on Fortune Group’s board.
Muchtar joined Fortune PR in 2012 as group business director and served as managing director from 2014.
“It’s an incredibly exciting time for me to bring Fortune PR to reach its vision as the spotlighted global communication network. This new role opens new challenges that drive me to have more strategically thinking and to foster on the growth of Fortune PR,” she said.
“I will continue what Indira Abidin has been built for Fortune PR for over ten years and this new position is definitely very challenging and interesting. Additionally, as we are entering the AEC era, Fortune PR is getting more ready than ever to face the global market challenges that is more dynamics and more innovative in this global era.”
The agency also announced that Thomas Franky, who has been with the firm for more than ten years, has been appointed as managing director.
Abidin said: “The industry has been transforming more dynamically and this change of leadership is a part of the company’s strategy to continue our growth momentum. As we have grown as an integrated communication consultancy, we certainly prepared for new challenges and business opportunities. Fortune PR, under the new leadership of Ati Muchtar and Thomas Franky is expected to penetrate both local and global market.”
