Participating in SITF Medan, Citilink Offers Promotional Prices Special for New Year Holiday

Jakarta, October 29th 2012 – Citilink, subsidiary company from PT. Garuda Indonesia, Tbk, for low-cost carrier service (LCC), today announced it participation in Sumatera International Travel Fair (SITF), an event held on Santika Premiere Dyandra Hotel & Convention Medan, Convention Room 1 Ground Floor from October 29th – 31st 2012. This exhibition is a part of Citilik’s end-of-year promotional series. In the event, any customer that wishes to gain knowledge about Citilink promos can easily get their inquiries satisfied and even their tickets booked at once.

This is the 7th Sumatera International Travel Fair (SITF) that is organized for the purpose of accommodating the needs of Medan’s citizens to travel prior to New Year. Not less than 66 booths will be available for Indonesian travel agents under Garuda Indonesia’s coordination, specifically for hotels in Sumatera, travel agents from Riau and West Sumatera, and those from Simalungun Regency, North Sumatera. Unique to this SITF event, Citilink offers promotional fares for some flight routes accessible from Medan. Citilink promotional fares are offered starting from Rp 313,000 for Medan – Batam route and starting from Rp 439,000 for Medan – Jakarta route.

Since Citilink is based on point to point flight, it facilitates passengers to travel to Surabaya and Denpasar from Jakarta with its affordable price. For Citilink’s flights from Jakarta to Surabaya, the airline offers starting price of Rp 324,000; and for Jakarta to Denpasar, Rp 340,000. This promotional fare is especially given for flight periods starting from November 1st to December 31st 2012.

The promotional fare offered during SITF starts from nett prices, which already includes insurance and tax. The prices are applied for one trip. If a travel agent service is employed, then additional cost is required. Customers are advise to carefully read the terms and conditions of the promotional tickets before purchasing one. “Through this promo, Citilink wishes to be a part of Indonesian people’s joy in welcoming Christmas, year-end holiday, and New Year’s holiday,” Aristo added. In the near future, Citilink will also participate in other travel expos, such as Association of the Indonesian Tours & Travel Agencies (ASITA) which will be held in Batam on November 23rd-25th. The events are performed in line with Citilink’s program of introducing new routes to domestic destinations in Indonesia with affordable price.
