Jakarta, March 10 2013 – WeChat, a socialcommunication service available for smartphones, today announces its success intaking the top spot of free apllications in Google Play Store for Android devices and Apple App Store for iOS devices.
Lastweek, WeChat officially launched its Television commercial (TVC) video and announced the newly formed MNC-Tencent Joint Venture company in Indonesia. As an impact of the TVC, the numbers of downloads is now 30 times higher than before. Not only that, within a week after the announcement WeChat managed to reach the #1 position both in Apple App Store and Google Play Store in the country.

Key features available for other platforms like ‘Pushto Talk’, ‘Moments’, and a multitude of exciting emoticons also present in this version.
